All pledges and donations made to Mitchell's Run Thru Rockford are given in the name of Mitchell to Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy, a non-profit organization managed by parents of children stricken with Duchenne and Becker Muscular Dystrophies. Parent Project - Mission Statement The Parent Project for Muscular Dystrophy Research, Inc. is committed to expedite a treatment and cure for Duchenne and Becker Muscular Dystrophy by funding research and education.  Their goal is to raise money to further the research towards our prayer, the cure.
